I have been a proud “fish eating” vegetarian for almost 25 years.

I have spent the last two years wrestling with the fact that while I am a “vegetarian,” I am still consuming fish, eggs and dairy products. Ironically, I have been neither a vegetarian nor a meat eater.

The fact is, eating animals, their eggs or their milk is no longer in line with my values.

While pondering this personal realization, I have considered the many ways I could make this happen. Commit for one year? Take it one month at a time? Be a Vegan until the weekend?

All perfectly admirable choices; but instead, I have decided to adopt this lifestyle without an escape hatch.

As a Registered Nutritionist, I have a great deal to share on the topic of nutrition. In addition, I read, watch and listen to everything I can get my hands on. My training, my research and my heart are consistently pointing me towards a 100% plant based diet.

I hope you will follow along, question, heckle if you like, but most of all support me in my quest to do what I honestly feel is best for me, animals everywhere and the planet.
